Real space

This section contains graphics that can be plotted in a Cartesian 3D coordinate system.

SymbolGraphicDescription
Spatial curvesRepresents curve trajectories in the x-, y- and z-directions using three functions that depend on a parameter.
Surfaces in spaceDisplays open surfaces or closed objects in the x, y and z directions using three functions that depend on two parameters.
SectionsDetermines sections between the graphs of the other functions and is therefore only applicable if at least two graphs are displayed.
Linear algebraDisplays straight lines and planes in parametric form, planes in normal form and spheres in 3D space based on their vector description.
Mappings in 3D spaceAllows mappings of functions with three variables u, v and w to the three coordinates x, y and z in 3D space.
Implicit surfacesDisplays surfaces defined in the form of an implicit equation f(u,v,w)=0 as a point cloud.
