Settings: Default values
The input fields for real and complex numbers offer an additional feature besides direct input. Right-clicking in an input field opens a pop-up menu from which you can select predefined default values for easy entry of frequently used values such as pi. These values can be set here.
The right side of the window contains two tabs, separated by lists for real and complex numbers. Terms can also be entered (e.g. sqrt(2)). These must be calculable, i.e. they must not contain any variables or parameters. They are also only included in the list if they could be evaluated correctly. Entries are added to the list by clicking on Add. If an entry is selected in the list, it can be removed by clicking on Delete.
If a complex number is entered in the tab for real numbers, it is added as a whole to the list of real default values. However, only the real part of this number will be used for calculation and as an input value.
Note: In addition to these default values, the menu also contains the last 5 entries. These entries are collected from all real or complex input fields, regardless of the type of graph in which they were entered.
