====== Colour and pattern settings ======

For some elements, only the colour can be selected. To do this, double-click on the text next to the coloured symbol for the graph or axes in the tree view.

In addition to the **//colour//**, **//patterns//** can also be selected. Depending on the graphic, however, these may look different in the display than in the selection box in this dialogue box. 

**Note**: Patterns are not available for all elements. In this case, the option for selecting a pattern is disabled.

The example shows the approximate appearance that can be expected later in the graphical representation.

**Note**: Some graphics also allow colours to be changed within a list of default values.
