====== Coordinate system (2D) ======

The 2D coordinate system used in the illustrations consists of several elements that can be displayed and modified in the tree view.

| Axes | Main node in the tree - double-clicking opens the settings for the [[Axes parameters 2D|axes parameters]] |
| Background colour | Sets the [[Colour 2D|background colour]] of the window (red circle) |
| Grid display | Sets the [[Stroke2d|colour and appearance]] of the background grid (yellow arrow). Clicking on the colour symbol hides and shows the grid again.|
| Axis display | Sets the [[Stroke2d|colour and appearance]] of the axes in the x and y directions (green arrow). Clicking on the colour symbol hides and shows the axes again.|
| Marker display | Sets the [[Stroke2d|colour and appearance]] of the short markers on the axes (blue arrow). Clicking on the colour symbol hides and shows the markers.|
| Font | Sets the [[Font|colour and font]] of the axis labels (magenta arrow). Clicking on the colour symbol hides and shows the text.|
